Beyond the rocky entrance, we caught glimpses of two geysers intermittently shooting water skyward. These geysers, part of the ride’s hot springs scene near the end, add a refreshing touch to the adventure. But the real magic lies in the reimagined Rainbow Caverns, a highlight of the refurbishment. The new opening scene is nothing short of breathtaking. As the trains enter the Rainbow Caverns, riders are greeted by hundreds of bats, glowing pools, and shimmering stalagmites and stalactites. It’s a majestic, almost ethereal sight—until the thunder rolls in, signaling a shift to something darker and more menacing.
