THINGS TO KNOW

Below is some information from the Southern California Chapter of the International Dutch Oven Society in hopes that it will make your participation at our 5th Annual Beach Blast D.O.G. a pleasant one:

We will offer an opportunity drawing throughout the day. Lots of wonderful items will be available. Please see Sherry Colvin to purchase tickets. The prices are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Sherry will also have our chapter patch for sale for $2.00 each.  This would be a great time to pay chapter and IDOS dues.

Be sure and stop by our information table. We’ll have several handouts available for participants: Jiffy Mixes, Sourdough Booklets, Lodge, Camp Chef, etc. We’ll also have information on how you or your family, friends or neighbors can become members of the chapter.

To help you with your scheduling and timing of your meal preparation, below is a schedule for the day. We’ll do our best to stick to it, but because the day is so jammed packed with Dutch Oven Fun, we’d appreciate your flexibility:

This event was possible because of the generosity of Doheny State Beach Park.  We will be using two very large areas (free of charge) in which to hold our classes, cook our food and hold our D.O.G.  Please give a warm thank you to our Doheny Park friends who have helped to make this event possible.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to hunt down one of our board members: Brenda Wildish, Cindy Chapman, Rochelle Anderson or Sherry Colvin.

*Please see Rochelle Anderson for your Membership Election Ballot.
